About
Welcome to Equivalence! Established in 2024, I am committed to delivering the best standards of Equine Therapy to my valued clients. The name Equivalence means balance, equality and symmetry - all things I aim for when treating the horses I work with.
My 'Why'
The diamond in place of the 'v' in my logo is a tribute to my own mare, Harrops Little Diamond (Lily), who is the reason I started this whole journey. In 2023 I was told Lily wouldn't be ridden again, and after 12 months of careful rehab and endless therapy we have defied all the odds and she's now back out showjumping. I wanted to do my best for her, so I embarked on all of my courses knowing I could apply my knowledge and skills to her rehabilitation - I owe my entire business to her as without her none of this would have happened. My Mission
At Equivalence my mission is to help horses feel their absolute best in their bodies, whilst educating owners along the way. This results in increased performance, happy horses and knowledgable owners who fully understand their specific horses requirements. I combine a holistic approach with evidence based clinical reasoning, and utilise EquiGate (please see the EquiGate tab for further info) to ensure that every appointment I offer not only meets but exceeds my clients expectations.
What I Do
I specialise in a number of different therapies to provide a variety of treatments to client horses - either during bodywork appointments or whilst horses are with me on livery.
